E-learning module on Performance Review and Development Cycle
E-learning is the best approach for remote and distance learning as employees sometimes have to work from home and complete certain training for professional development. As an example, we have created e-learning modules to guide employees from all levels on how to carry out the Performance Review and Development Cycle at every stage throughout the year. Various e-learning elements are used, i.e., storytelling, role play, infographic, simulation, and knowledge check.
Knowledge Check
We believe that knowledge check can help learners retain their knowledge better, especially important tasks.
Here is an example of a drop and drag feature to arrange the Performance and Review Cycle. This knowledge provides immediate feedback for the answer.

Storytelling
The materials can be presented using storytelling. Learners can relate to the content that can enhance their learning and memory retention. They can “live” the real situation instead of reading the original material without any interaction.
In this case, we present a dialogue between two employees to explain the organisation’s vision and mission naturally.

Role Play
Role play is effective in presenting the roles of employees in an organisation. Our team works with SMEs to come up with several scenarios involving different roles across the level. Each character is described in detail according to their roles and relationship with each other.
Besides that, we help our clients to create mock-up situations involving risky situations or worse case scenarios for better risk management. This approach is useful to shorten the training as learners can replay and revise on their roles in the e-learning.
Infographic
One of the most favoured features in the e-learning is infographic. We propose and design eye catching infographics to present the training materials or modules. Some infographics may include images, icons, text, charts, and diagrams to present messages at a glance.
For example, we had proposed the use of presenting the guideline for setting KRAs using a relatable icon for each acronym (S.M.A.R.T).
Here, we expand the acronym into a more meaningful presentation for better memory retention. Our goal is to help learners achieve the organisation’s objective in making the best decision when filling in their KRA using this S.M.A.R.T technique. This is a win-win situation for both the organisation and employees in completing this specific task efficiently. What’s best is that this e-learning module can be used for the organisation’s different business units to convey the same training. We can save the trainer’s energy as the employees can always re-read or re-learn this module anytime anywhere at the comfort of their electronic devices.

Another example of using infographic is the presentation of how to evaluate behavioural evidence using S.T.A.R.
We propose different icons for each acronym so that learners could have a better picture on how to evaluate behavioural evidence. Using this infographic, learners can remember to always look at the Situation, Task, Action, and Result every time they have to perform an evaluation for a specific behaviour.

Simulation
This is a simulation page on how to fill in the Section C for Development Plan. Learners can have the “feel” of the real form and learn how to fill it in correctly. It is effective to let learners experience the simulation at the comfort of their own time and pace. They can always come back and revisit the simulation whenever they needed to refresh their memory.
