Why do we need a customisation export template in LMS?
Customisation Export Template in LMS is a part of an essential element of our daily reporting. Therefore one of the elements is the participant list and course list in our Learning Management System (LMS).
IMC LMS has developed a feature to generate participant and course lists through the company’s desired template. So we can use this feature to create different templates for course lists to introduce the upcoming period’s available courses. We can also use the template to generate a participant list, individual name tag, participant offline test docket, and many more.
In order to create the export template, we can create a customisation export template using Microsoft Word with the mail-merge function to import the placeholder available in our LMS.

Let’s introduce various types of customisation export templates that can be used in IMC LMS:
1. Entry list in a document
In the Entry list in a document template, we can design the participant attendance lists for the face-to-face event and course brochure. It will export it in a single document with all participants’ or courses’ data recorded in a list.
2. One page per entry
We can generate a participant’s name tag in the one-page per entry template. It will export it on multiple pages according to the number of participants registered for the course.
3. One document per entry
We can export individual attendance sheets and an offline test docket in one document per entry template. It will export it in multiple documents according to the number of participants registered for the course.
4. Template and CSV
In the template and CSV, we can use it to create an offline design template. All placeholders will be exported to CSV and manually mail merge to Microsoft Word.
