Can you walk us through the process of developing AI Tutor for e-learning?
Sure. To create AI Tutor that is capable of analysing documents and providing accurate response to learners’ queries in e-learning, we leverage OpenAI Assistant technology together with Streamlit Cloud, GitHub, and Python programming in Visual Studio Code IDE. We then integrate the AI Tutor as a Web Object within Articulate Storyline and deliver it as part of the SCORM package.
Whenever a learner poses a query, OpenAI Assistant first searches the answer from the uploaded documents. If the answer is not found within the client’s materials, OpenAI Assistant taps into publicly available knowledge to provide a comprehensive response.
What are the drawbacks or limitations associated with employing AI Tutor in e-learning?
While AI Tutor enhances the learning experience, it does come with associated costs. The usage of AI Tutor incurs expenses, as it operates on a token-based system for responses generated. Clients can mitigate costs by setting daily usage caps within the OpenAI platform.
